Dual Tensorial Ontology
The Unifying Principle of the MCMC and the Art of the Path
Adrián Martínez Estellés
Everything that exists is born of a tension between two poles that cannot exist without each other. The universe. The mind. Love. I.
Preface: Why This Essay Exists
This text is not an academic treatise. It is the point of convergence between two currents that have arisen from the same place: my own interior. One has materialized as a cosmological model, the MCMC. The other as a philosophy of life, the Art of the Path. For years I have developed them in parallel without needing to unite them explicitly, because at bottom they have always been the same thing expressed on two different scales.
I write this in May 2026 from the current point of my process: with the clarity of someone who has gone through enough collapses of one's own to recognize the pattern. Not as an arrival. As an observation from the axis of a path that continues.
What I set out here begins from where I am now, goes toward the root of everything, and returns to the present with the understanding that only the round trip produces. This movement is not linear. It is tensorial. And that is precisely what it describes.
PART I: FROM THE PRESENT TOWARD THE ROOT
I.I — How I Perceive the Outer World at This Moment
The outer world I inhabit in May 2026 is a dense network of subjective metrics in interaction. Each person I meet carries with them a specific way of collapsing reality: their intrinsic core, their accumulated experiences, their values or the absence of them, their level of inner openness or the degree to which their ego has collapsed the space available to receive something new.
What I perceive most often when I step outside is density. Not the physical density of space, but the ontological density of people who have closed off their inner spatial component. Hypertrophied ego, α(S) → 0. There is no openness to receive information that does not confirm the preexisting construct. Reality bends around their needs without entering. And from within, that person experiences no fracture, because the system is, from its own perspective, complete and coherent. The singularity does not see itself as such.
What this produces in the collective field is a society that has confused temperament with character, repeated knowledge with lived wisdom, the image constructed outward with real identity. A field of metrics that, in its interaction, produces structures of power in which whoever most needs external validation occupies the positions from which it can be extracted most efficiently. There is no malice in this. There is simply the natural consequence of a system in which the majority operates from the dominant mass pole without the counterweight of conscious space.
I live in that field without fully belonging to it. Not because I am better or worse. Because my subjective dual metric operates from a different principle: that of the tension held between ego and consciousness, between form and openness, between determination and possibility. That tension is uncomfortable. It is also the only way I know of not collapsing prematurely the reality I perceive.
I.II — How I Perceive My Inner World at This Moment
My inner world is not a fixed state. It is a dynamic field in constant tension between two poles that need each other in order to exist.
The ego pole, which in the MCMC corresponds to the primordial mass Mp, is the part of me that gives form, that defines, that draws the limits from which I relate to the exterior. It is not the ego in the pathological sense of a need for validation or dominance. It is the principle of psychic determination: the will that says this is who I am, the structure that sustains identity over time, the part that converts emotional energy into concrete action. Without ego there would be no form. Without form, there would be no path to walk.
The consciousness pole, corresponding to the primordial space Ep, is the part of me that observes without possessing, that contains without collapsing, that allows the tension to exist without resolving it too soon. When I am in it, I see the moment before reacting. I see my own ego activate. I see the emotion arise as an independent sphere before I identify with it. That instant of visibility is where real freedom occurs: not the absence of external restrictions, but the capacity to collapse the present from one's own center and not from the accumulated pressure of what the exterior expects.
Between the two poles exists what my model calls the Adrián Field: the dynamic mediator that regulates the tension between them, that encodes the original asymmetry that prevents perfect cancellation, that sustains the imperfection necessary for the system to keep generating movement. In me, that field is the zone where inner alchemy takes place: the transmutation of raw emotion into lucid will, of impulse into chosen action, of fear into a map, of anger into a limit drawn with firmness and without violence.
My internal entropy, the Scon of my system, is not chaos. It is the index of my own process of structuring. When it is high, inner time speeds up, judgments become automatic, reactivity dominates. When it drops, time slows down and the axis appears. Learning to modulate that entropy without eliminating it, to hold the tension without collapsing prematurely, that has been the central work of my life.
I.III — The Fracture I Observe and the Tension That Produces It
What I observe both in the outer world and in myself is the same architecture on different scales: an irreducible dual unity in tension, where the original imperfection is what generates movement, evolution, life.
In the exterior, the most visible fracture is the one that exists between what people are at their core and what they project outward in order to survive in the social field. That gap, when it is sustained for too long, produces an ego that no longer recognizes the core that generated it. The mask becomes the face. The social construct is mistaken for identity. And then the person no longer inhabits their own metric: they inhabit the image of themselves that the exterior has handed back to them.
In me, the fracture has taken different forms over time. The deepest has been the one that exists between the part that sees the world with clarity, that understands the root of things, that has dismantled layers of judgment all the way to the origin, and the part that trembles, that has anxiety attacks, that needs a hug and a safe space in order to go on. For years those two parts judged each other. The strong part demanded an impossible standard of the weak part. The weak part never arrived. And between the two extremes, I, torn apart.
What I have understood at this point on the path is that this fracture is not a defect of the system. It is the system functioning exactly as it should. Weakness is not a failure. It is the pole that complements strength. The tension between the two is not resolved by eliminating one. It is inhabited. It is held. It becomes the architecture from which something real is built.
PART II: FROM THE ROOT TOWARD THE PRESENT
II.I — S = 0: The Formless State Where Everything Begins
Before the universe existed, before time existed, before any structure or dimension or force existed, there was an irreducible dual unity in tension.
Primordial Mass and Primordial Space. The determined and the undetermined. The tendency toward form and the tendency toward openness. Two opposite and complementary essences that cannot exist by themselves. Mass without a space to define it cannot manifest. Space without any reference lacks ontological meaning.
That is S = 0 in the MCMC. A state ontologically full because it contains all the potentiality of the cycle, and physically empty because there is no form, nor volume, nor time, nor observables. Only the internal tension between what wants to determine itself and what wants to open itself. An original imperfection that prevents perfect cancellation and makes differentiation inevitable.
That imperfection is the origin of everything.
There is no Big Bang without that primordial asymmetry. There is no observable universe without the tension that precedes it. There is no movement without the structural imbalance between two poles that cannot completely cancel each other. Perfection would be the end of everything. Imperfection is the beginning of everything that exists.
II.II — The Collapses: From the Root to Form
The universe is not born all at once. It is born in leaps. Each collapse in the discrete entropic variable S is not only a physical event. It is an ontological act: the emergence of a new structural freedom that allows the system to determine itself in ways that were not possible before.
In the first collapse, S = 0.001, space determines itself as a point of reference and all the primordial mass concentrates in that point. Embryonic gravity is born: the self-attraction of mass upon itself. The system learns to concentrate without destroying itself.
In the second collapse, S = 0.010, the first effective dimension appears. The universe ceases to be a point and becomes a line. Relative positions, trajectories, polarity appear. Mass divides into a primordial particle and antiparticle. Movement is born.
In the third collapse, S = 0.099, the two-dimensional plane opens. Turning and rotation become possible. The sealed energy begins to couple to space, which expands. As that energy decays, time ignites according to the Law of Cronos.
In the final collapse of the primordial regime, S = 1.001, the Adrián Field crystallizes into the Higgs Field. The four fundamental forces become fixed. The 3+1D metric consolidates. The universe has found a stable way of existing and can begin its observable history.
Each of these collapses is a response to a tension that could no longer be sustained in the previous form. The system does not collapse because it fails. It collapses because the accumulated tension demands a new structural freedom in order to continue. To collapse is reality's way of growing.
II.III — The Human Being as a Universe of One's Own: The Same Structure on Another Scale
Every human being with consciousness and ego is an individual universe. An independent closed system within a larger one, coexisting with other closed systems just as complete.
The process that occurs at S = 0 has its exact analog in the development of each individual. The intrinsic core, composed of anatomy, physiognomy, genetics and hormonal levels, is each person's primordial state: a base configuration with tendencies and a curvature of its own, prior to any experience of the exterior. It is the ground before the rain arrives. It is S = 0 individualized.
On that core the same dual dynamic operates. The ego, a psychic mass that gives form, that delimits, that builds the narrative of the self, corresponds directly to Mp. Consciousness, an open inner space that observes without intervening, that allows openness and expansion without premature collapse, corresponds directly to Ep. And between the two acts the subjective Adrián Field: the mediator that encodes the tension between form and openness, and that in the Philosophy of the Art of the Path is called inner alchemy.
Each person's inner time is neither linear nor uniform. It obeys a subjective Law of Cronos: when internal psychic entropy is high, inner time speeds up and judgments become automatic. When it drops, time slows down and the space to observe before collapsing appears.
II.IV — Judgment as Collapse and Probability as Openness
Every judgment I produce about reality is a collapse. Before, there is open possibility, superposition of states, a field in tension with no defined form. Afterward there is sealed form: an interpretation, a decision, a crystallized emotion, a category that bounds what was previously an open field.
The key is not to avoid collapse. Collapse is inevitable and necessary. The key is to know when to collapse and from where to do so. If the collapse comes from the reactive ego, from high entropy, from accelerated inner time, the form it produces is distorted by the needs, fears and interests of the system at that moment. If it comes from the axis, from active consciousness with controlled entropy, the collapse produces a form more coherent with objective reality.
That is why I live in probability and not in certainty. Not out of indecision but out of structure. Keeping the field of possibilities open for as long as possible before collapsing is an active practice of not letting the ego close off reality before having seen enough. The questions I ask myself are not “What is this?” but “How?”, “Why?”, “What for?”
Action. Consequence. If someone wants me close, they will show it through their actions and not their words. Words are uncollapsed potential energy. Actions are the way that energy manifests, or not, in reality.
II.V — The Subjective Dual Metric as the Individual Curvature of the World
My intrinsic core is my base curvature. It is the geometry from which reality reaches me and from which I go out toward reality. I did not choose it. It is prior to any conscious decision. It is the configuration of my nervous system, of my perceptual sensitivity, of my emotional thresholds, of my tendency to go deep before expanding, to feel before concluding, to observe before reacting.
On that base curvature my subjective dual metric operates: the dynamic and living way in which ego and consciousness interact from moment to moment to produce my experience of the world. When the ego pole dominates without the counterweight of conscious space, the metric distorts toward the needs of the self. When the consciousness pole dominates without the anchor of the ego, the metric loses form and dissolves into an openness without an axis.
My joy is intense because my curvature amplifies what arrives. My fear I process as a map because my core tends toward understanding before reaction. My anger I transform before it surges because the white wolf of my system does not allow violence to take form in the exterior. My love does not need to possess because my consciousness knows that possessing closes off what can still expand.
All of this is my lens. Not absolute truth. My subjective truth, coherent with my curvature, drawn from my core outward. Different. Irreducibly different.
II.VI — The Path as a Living Ontological Practice
The Art of the Path is not a philosophy that is applied from outside onto life. It is the description of what happens when one decides to live consciously from the dual tension of one's own system.
The path begins with the recognition of the intrinsic core: seeing clearly which part of what I am comes from within and which part is the accumulation of what the exterior has deposited in me without my conscious choice. That separation is neither perfect nor definitive. It is a continuous process of purification, of asking oneself before each emotion, each judgment, each desire: is this mine or is it what I learned I was supposed to be?
It continues with the development of the third-person perspective: the capacity to step out of the point on the pendulum where one is and observe oneself from outside. Seeing the tree from the forest. Not to judge oneself but to understand.
It continues with inner alchemy: the transmutation of raw emotion into lucid will. Not the suppression of feeling but its organization from the axis. Emotion is not an enemy. It is impulse not yet organized. The work is to convert it into useful energy without letting it carry the system away.
And it continues, indefinitely, in each collapse of the present. Each instant is an act of absolute creation. Before, there is possibility. Afterward, there is form. And in that space between possibility and form is where real freedom lives.
PART III: THE POINT OF CONVERGENCE
III.I — The Dual Tensorial Ontology: The Unifying Principle
The Dual Tensorial Ontology is the name I give to the principle that unifies the MCMC and the Art of the Path. It is not a bridge between two separate disciplines. It is the recognition that they have always described the same structure from two different angles.
In the cosmos: mass and space, determination and openness, form and void, irreducible tension that generates everything that exists.
In the mind: ego and consciousness, narrative and observation, judgment and openness, irreducible tension that generates all subjective experience.
In relationships: determination and openness, limit and space, what one is and the space one leaves for the other to be. Irreducible tension that generates every real connection.
In love: the form one gives to one's own feeling and the space that opens for the other without needing to possess them. Tension between wanting and letting be.
The pattern is always the same. The scale changes. The structure does not.
What the MCMC calls original imperfection, that small asymmetry that prevents perfect cancellation between mass and space and makes differentiation inevitable, is the same thing that I call in the Art of the Path the tension that sustains movement. Without imperfection there is no entropy. Without entropy there is no collapse. Without collapse there is no form. Without form there is no existence.
Imperfection is not the error of the system. It is the condition of possibility of everything that exists.
III.II — How I Live This in May 2026
At this point on my path, May 2026, everything described in the preceding pages is not theory. It is experience accumulated in concrete collapses that have reconfigured my system in ways that the mind alone could not have produced.
I have gone through enough fractures of my own to know that weakness is not a failure of the system. It is the engine. I have sustained asymmetrical relationships long enough to know that a bond that only works when one gives is not a bond: it is a geometry of a single pole. I have collapsed judgments prematurely out of fear of the clarity they produce, and I have learned that clarity, even when it hurts, generates more freedom than the illusion of possibilities that no longer exist.
I have learned that my body needs to move so that my mind can process what it cannot get through on its own. I have learned that the silence between two people who truly know each other is not empty: it is full of everything that does not need to be said. I have learned that love without form has no edges because it was born before the mind named it.
I have learned that unconditional love is not the absence of choice: it is the choice sustained from the axis, in the presence of all the circumstances that would make it reasonable to withdraw. It is the highest act of conscious tension: to love without collapsing the other into the image one has of them, without needing to resolve uncertainty too soon, without confusing the desire for closeness with the right to it.
I keep cultivating the wellspring. I keep meditating, training, creating, cooking, singing, dancing, reading, asking. I keep skiing down slopes without an instructor, turn by turn, mistake to correction, absolute present. I keep walking in the dark void, creating the ground beneath my feet with each conscious step, because there is no predefined ground and there never will be.
The dual tensorial ontology is not a conclusion. It is a description of the process that I am.
Epilogue: Tension as Home
At the root of every form, every emotion, every thought and every cosmos, there is one single truth: tension.
Not as conflict. As origin. Not as obstacle. As architecture.
The universe is born neither of peace nor of war, but of the structural imbalance between two irreducible poles that need each other in order to exist. And that same imbalance, that same living and irresolvable tension, is what constitutes me.
I do not seek to resolve it. I seek to inhabit it.
I do not seek to arrive at any destination where the tension disappears. I seek the capacity to hold the tension without being possessed by it, to live in the arc of the pendulum with the same naturalness with which the universe lives in its expansion: knowing that every state is transitory, that every collapse opens a new freedom, that the imperfection that makes me unstable is also the one that makes me capable of continuing to evolve.
I am the tension between what I am and what I have not yet been.
I am the collapse in progress.
I am the path that is created by walking.
“Before thinking, I already know. Before knowing, I already feel. And before feeling, I already was.”
