Ontology of Consciousness

The Philosophy of the Art of the Path is an independent work that shares a dual grammar with the MCMC and reads it in the sphere of human experience. Just as the universe evolves through discrete collapses of energy between Primordial Mass and Primordial Space, the human mind experiences, by analogy of function and not of substance, subjective collapses in which Consciousness curves toward concrete forms of the Ego.

The Four Principles of the Art of the Path

1. Being (Consciousness)

The pole of opening: observing without identifying, pure presence, the inner space where experience occurs.

Being is to inhabit the space of Consciousness without any need for form or narrative.

MCMC analogy: Primordial Space (Ep) — The void that contains all potentiality.

2. Non-Being (Ego and Matter)

The pole of determination: integrating the structure of the Ego without letting it dominate. Recognizing form without identifying exclusively with it.

Non-Being does not mean annulling the Ego, but returning it to its relative position within the space of Consciousness.

MCMC analogy: Primordial Mass (Mp) — The condensed form that gives structure.

3. Thinking and Reasoning (Governance of Space)

The active, clear mind: using thought as a tool, not as a prison. Reasoning from clarity, not from reactivity.

Thought is an instrument of the Path, not its obstacle.

MCMC analogy: Adrián Field (ΦAd) — The mediator that transforms and regulates.

4. Non-Thinking and Non-Reasoning (Time and Present)

Pure presence: inhabiting the moment without the mediation of thought. The mental silence in which experience is lived without conceptualization.

In Non-Thinking, time dissolves into presence.

MCMC analogy: Primordial State (S=0) — The origin where time and form do not yet exist.

Integration of the Four Principles

The four principles are not opposites that exclude each other, but poles of a dynamic tension. The Art of the Path consists in navigating among them according to context, maintaining structural coherence without rigidity or abandonment.

The Intrinsic Core

Each person possesses an Intrinsic Core: the individual structural singularity from which all subjective experience curves. It is analogous to the Primordial State (S₀) of the MCMC at the personal scale.

Definition

The Intrinsic Core is the local “original imperfection” that fixes the particular way in which Ego and Consciousness interact in each individual. It is neither good nor bad: it is the irreducible starting point of personal experience.

Components of the Core

Biological

  • Genetics and epigenetics
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Hormone levels
  • Nervous system

Structural

  • History of prior collapses
  • Unique tensional configuration
  • Response patterns
  • Available vitality

Subjective Dual Metric

Just as the MCMC describes the geometry of spacetime through the Relative Dual Metric, inner experience is organized according to a Subjective Dual Metric:

Philosophical notation (not an empirical equation). It is a map of dependencies of the philosophy, not an equation of the MCMC: with no empirical scale, no physical unit, and no measurement procedure.

$$ds^2_{sub} = -\left[1 + \alpha_{sub}\left(\frac{S_{con}}{S_{crit}}\right)^{\gamma_{sub}}\right]d\tau^2 + d\vec{\psi}^2$$
Symbol Meaning
Scon Subjective entropy (load of unobserved judgments)
Scrit Internal collapse threshold
αsub Temporal deformation coefficient
γsub Sensitivity of the system
τ Psychological time
ψ Inner space of experience

Interpretation

When Scon is high (a heavy load of unprocessed judgments), psychological time dilates: difficult moments seem eternal. The metric “curves” toward more intense forms of experience.

The Collapse of the Present

Each present moment is the result of a collapse in which the Ego/Consciousness tension resolves into a concrete experience:

$$\text{Ego/Consciencia} \xrightarrow{\Delta S_{con}} \text{pensamiento} + \text{emoción} + \text{acto}$$

Before the Collapse

Experience is in a potential state: multiple possibilities coexist in tension.

After the Collapse

Potentiality condenses into a concrete form: a specific narrative, emotion, and behavior.

Each judgment is a subjective Big Bang: the potential energy of experience collapses into a determinate form.

The Nature of Suffering

Human suffering is interpreted as the result of unobserved automatic collapses (high Scon), not as a moral failing or a personal deficiency.

When subjective entropy (load of judgments) exceeds the critical threshold, the subjective dual metric deforms, generating:

  • Distortion of psychological time (time “stretches” or “compresses”)
  • Intensification of emotional reactivity
  • Loss of perspective and lucidity
  • Total identification with the content of the Ego
Suffering is neither a punishment nor a test. It is the structural consequence of the accumulation of unintegrated collapses in the field of consciousness.

Ego and Consciousness

Aspect EGO CONSCIOUSNESS
Nature Inner mass Inner space
Function Determines, delimits, judges Observes, contains, opens
Expression Narrative form, identity Silent presence
MCMC analogy Primordial Mass (Mp) Primordial Space (Ep)
Tendency Collapse toward form Opening toward emptiness

The Ego Is Not the Enemy

Unlike many traditions that demonize the ego, the Art of the Path recognizes its necessary structural function. The problem is not having an ego, but exclusive identification with it and the loss of contact with the pole of Consciousness.

The Three Dimensions of Being

The human being unfolds in three ontological dimensions that constantly interact. The Ego/Consciousness tension operates in each of them, generating different types of collapse and experience.

◆

Core

The irreducible singularity

  • Unique tensional configuration
  • Local primordial imperfection (δ₀ind)
  • Starting point of all experience
  • It is not chosen; it is inhabited

MCMC analogy: Primordial State S₀

◯

Mind

The field of collapses

  • Thoughts, emotions, narratives
  • Where the Ego/Consciousness tension operates
  • Subjective entropy Scon
  • Psychological time τ

MCMC analogy: Adrián Field ΦAd

▣

Body

The material manifestation

  • Sensations, perceptions
  • The vehicle of experience
  • Physical record of the collapses
  • Always present in the now

MCMC analogy: Dual Metric gμν(S)

Integration of the Three Dimensions

The work of the Path implies inhabiting the three dimensions simultaneously: recognizing the Core without trying to change it, observing the Mind without identifying exclusively with it, and using the Body as an anchor to the present. Fragmentation among the dimensions is a source of suffering; integration is a source of coherence.

Social Layers: The Individual in Context

The human being does not exist in isolation. The individual Ego/Consciousness tension unfolds within concentric social layers, each with its own dynamics of collective collapse.

Self-Governance in Context

The Art of the Path does not propose isolation from the social world, but a lucid self-governance that recognizes how social layers influence individual collapses. Each layer has its own collective entropy, and personal work affects—even if only minimally—the shared tensional field.
